I grew up around the Coshocton Model Railroad Club ever since I was a baby so it was really that that got me into the hobby. Believe it or not, I didn't really enjoy running trains in loops. When our club created BRAIL, I really got involved with operations. I enjoy switching! I mainly switch 10-25 car trains with my NS GP38-2 high hood and it's awesome!

I started doing tours at the club when I was about 10. I would share our history with visitors and show them our hand laid track. People would complement me on my knowledge of all the things at the club at my age and being so young. Ever since then I give tours during fair time and if we are having an event.

I always had the idea of becoming a engineer or just working for the railroad when I was little. Recently I got to run a an actual SW9 and it was amazing. it was one of the coolest things I've ever done. And its suprisingly calm inside the cab and just switching from 2 tracks was just enough to get me hooked.

I have various HO scale locomotives. Most of them are DC but I've acquired a couple DCC locomotives that are now my favorites. I have learned to weather and bring cars up to standards for our club layout and I have a lot of fun doing it.

I'm a diesel mechanic apprentice which funds a lot of my hobbies, but more importantly it is creating a great learning experience.
